ABOUT ME

Washington is my home, but I originally grew up in Carlsbad, CA as an only child to Kimbal and Rosemarie Miller. I have always looked up to my parents as they are both entrepreneurs and successful business owners running American Glass and Mirror Company as well as Miller Coastal Notary. Growing up, I was always going with my dad to work where he would show me the projects he was working on. I always loved going to construction sites and open houses – especially when I could see the process of a house becoming a home through staging! The creative process of building homes really excites me!

FUN FACT: At one point, my dad was invited to be a contractor on Extreme Home Makeover and I got to go watch the process happen - just in awe of everything!

As a kid, I was involved in musical theatre, I was a Girl Scout Gold Award recipient, and I competed in speech and debate tournaments. I have plenty of experience when it comes to debating and forming arguments - which I think is a helpful tool as a Realtor. My acting and singing earned me a full ride scholarship to Vanguard University and during my time there, I got a student job working in the wood shop to create complete set designs for shows - which was awesome! It allowed me to express my passion for construction, painting, and staging. After graduating in 2017 with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a minor in set construction, I instantly landed a job working as a stage technician at a professional Broadway theatre in California. I found that not only do I have a passion for performing, but I also have a passion for creating.

FUN FACT: As a performer, I have had the incredible opportunity to perform all over the world. I have performed in theatres throughout California, participated in multiple collegiate acting competitions, sang in Carnegie Hall in New York, and performed in The International Performing Arts Institute in Kiefersfelden, Germany.

In 2017, I got married to my husband Ryan. He joined the Air Force and we lived in New Mexico where the base was an hour and a half away from basically any civilization - it was tiny! To occupy my time, I worked at the animal shelter and became one of their top volunteers, plus I worked at a veterinary clinic in town as a receptionist. I have always had a true love for working with animals, and it was a good way to grow my clerical skills. After four years in New Mexico, Ryan was deployed to the Middle East and once he returned, decided to leave active duty to become a reservist. It was at that time that we decided to relocate to Washington - not really having a plan except for the fact that we have always loved the Pacific Northwest and wanted to start fresh in a new state where there would be endless opportunities.

FUN FACT: Ryan and I met in 2014 while working at a summer camp – I worked in recreation and he was a lifeguard.

We’ve happily lived in Washington since 2019 and almost immediately upon our arrival, I was hired for a part-time job at bridal boutique. To my surprise, I was promoted to Bridal Stylist within a month and became one of the top three performers averaging sales of 10K weekly in selling wedding dresses! I realized the joy that came from being a part of such a huge occasion for these brides. It was up to me to find them the dress that aligned with their dreams - the dress that brought tears to the eyes of the bride and their family. The bride would tell me their greatest fears and their biggest dreams, and I held that responsibility close to my heart – it was an intimate job. The commission didn't matter as much as their experience did.

Then, COVID happened.

Life was put on hold. Our store shut down, and I was furloughed. No one was buying wedding dresses during a pandemic. It was okay though, because I was pregnant and worried about getting sick or affecting my baby. During the pandemic, I had plenty of time to consider my future, what I wanted for myself, and what I wanted for my family. I knew I could stay at the Bridal boutique and move on up, but I didn’t think that I would be happy in retail forever. Honestly, I knew I could achieve greater. I wanted something in my own name that I could work hard for and excel at.

FUN FACT: I held the all-time best sales record for Dress Specialist while working in the boutique and my experience there is where I found a deep passion for sales.

My decision brought me to Real Estate. Not only do I think I have what it takes to succeed, I have the desire and the passion to achieve more. Growing up played a role in my love for construction, houses, and helping people. My performance background unleashed my passion for creating. I want to be there for people in my community during those huge and scary, but also exciting life moments. I want my daughter, who is my world, to grow up and see that her mom is successful. I want to do everything I can to provide her with the best and most stable life possible! I want to help my husband provide for our family even though he does such a great job at it on his own. I want to be the matchmaker for people and their homes just as I was for brides and their gowns. As a client, I ask you to trust my passion, creativity, talent, work ethic, confidence, and my heart. GOFORTH and trust in me to find you your perfect home.

As a John L. Scott broker, my mission is transactional excellence and client satisfaction. That means I work tirelessly to make your home buying or selling process as efficient, stress-free and lucrative for you as possible.

Representation

I take pride in offering high-caliber full-service residential real estate expertise. My clients are my top priority, and I focus on delivering the best possible results for them.

Expertise

The real estate market is hyperlocal, seasonal and temperamental—in other words, it can change on a dime. Technology has made information more accessible to everyone, but it can be difficult to keep up with recent events that affect home values. The benefits of working with a licensed real estate professional go far beyond what a mobile app, online video, or website can do.

I provide my clients with information on market seasonality and information relevant to what is happening in their specific neighborhood. This customized analysis includes recent comparable sales that factor into an offer and acceptance strategy.

Negotiations

Successful negotiations help move a conversation forward and transform the process into an agreement that’s a win for all parties. Negotiation is not only a skill, but a mindset. I keep my clients’ best interests top of mind as I negotiate on their behalf.

Transactional Excellence

I am dedicated to transactional excellence for every listing and sale. What this means for you is that I oversee every detail of the real estate transaction. The transaction is far from over once an offer has been accepted. I monitor inspections, appraisals, title, escrow and loan processes. Communication and collaboration with all the partners and parties involved with the transaction ensures a smooth and timely closing. I am committed to my clients before, during and after a sale.
